How is agro CRM different from a regular CRM?+−
In its client model and its sense of time. In a regular CRM the client is a company with contacts and deals; in agro CRM it is a farm with fields, crops and seasons, from which demand for products is calculated. Deals are tied to a season and harvest, payment is often deferred until harvest and secured by a forward or an agrarian receipt, and part of the work happens in the field, on agronomist visits and demo plots.
Can we keep clients' fields in the CRM?+−
Yes, it is the core of agro CRM. A client's field is an object with an area, crops by season and, where available, a boundary on the map, shared by the client as KML or Shapefile or outlined by a sales rep on a satellite basemap. Sales potential is calculated from the fields, and visits, recommendations and demo plots are linked to them. The crop update form is kept short, because the potential is only as accurate as the data.
How does agro CRM integrate with accounting?+−
Through data exchange with your accounting system, such as BAS, which is common in Ukraine: shipments, payments and receivables for each client flow from accounting into the CRM, and confirmed orders and new counterparties flow back. The sales rep sees debt and overdue payments before approving a deferral, and accounting does not enter orders twice. The exchange runs on a schedule or on events, depending on how fresh the numbers need to be.
Is there a mobile version for reps and agronomists in the field?+−
Yes. A sales rep or consultant agronomist opens the farm card and records a visit, crop photos and recommendations from a phone, even without a connection: entries are stored on the device and synchronised later. Depending on the tasks, this is a mobile-friendly web interface or a native iOS and Android app; the latter is needed when offline work, the camera and a field map matter.
How much does agro CRM cost and where should we start?+−
The development cost depends on the number of entities, roles and integrations, not on the number of sales reps. It is best to start with the core, the farm card with fields, the seasonal pipeline and visits, and launch it before the pre-order season; credit control, mailings and demo plots are added in later stages. After the sales analysis askcust estimates the first release with a fixed scope.
Where is the agro CRM client base stored?+−
On your server or in your cloud account: a base of farms with fields, deals and credit history is the company's trade secret and should not sit on someone else's servers. The CRM code is handed over to your repository, user rights are split by region and role, and a sales rep who leaves loses access while their clients stay in the system.
